Heat Pump & Solar in the Snow

First cold weather and significant snowfall! Around 20cm fell in North Van over two days, with temperature lows of -7C. Happy to report that the heat pump is performing beautifully - it’s warm and comfortable inside 😊. Interestingly, despite their aspect, our solar panels have retained the snow and are not generating any power. I’m not sure what we expected to happen, but a few days of sun in the forecast should speed up the melt. Mind the rooftop slough!
