Electrical Pole

Today’s milestone was that we had temp power added to our new electrical pole. A few big tree branches had to be pruned to accommodate this (sorry neighbors!) Once the renovation is complete, we’ll also be running a new 200 amp service via this pole underground to the house. This ‘dip service’ means we avoid overhead power lines and are able to keep a well-loved magnolia tree at the SW corner of the house. 

Also making headway on asbestos removal and into our final week. There have been some interesting findings along the way including termite damage (yikes!) We will have to wait for air clearance before we can walk through the house again but really interested to see the space stripped down.
